How It Started

Opportunity in the 2009 Crash

In 2009, following the collapse of the US housing market, home prices across Florida and Texas dropped to levels that had not been seen in decades. While most investors panicked, our founder Guy Chaimy saw a rare window of opportunity.

He traveled to the US, investigated the market firsthand, and began acquiring properties at deeply discounted prices. The returns were significant — and word spread quickly among family and friends who asked to invest alongside him.

That demand led to the founding of CIG Investments LLC — a professional, structured vehicle for Israeli investors to access the same opportunity, with the same level of personal oversight.

2009

Guy Chaimy identifies opportunity in the post-crash US housing market and makes his first acquisitions in Florida.

2012

Growing demand from Israeli investors leads to the formal establishment of CIG Investments LLC in Florida.

2015

Guy has over a decade of real estate experience, with five years dedicated exclusively to the US market. He is the sole point of contact for every investor — personally overseeing every acquisition, renovation, and rental management decision.

His philosophy is straightforward: residential real estate in the right US markets delivers passive income, long-term appreciation, and tax advantages that outperform most conventional investment vehicles — at a lower effective risk. Every property he recommends to investors is one he would invest in himself.
